Enderal doesn't start Megathread

Hello!

If your thread has been merged here, or if you have been directed to this thread, then you have asked something regarding problems with launching the game.

Before continuing, please make sure you have tried these possible solutions:

• Run the launcher as administrator
  
• Make sure that the Launcher.exe, tes5.exe and skse_loader.exe are white-listed in any antivirus or firewall that may block them
  
• Try deactivating the Ransomware protection on your Windows Defender
  
• Make sure that no additional mods are installed
  
• Validate the game files
  
• Reinstall the game

just a follow up. I ran enbhost.exe and it loaded up fine. i ran skse_loader.exe and that loaded up with out issues. I ran TESV.exe and that loaded up fine as well. The only thing that doesnt load up at all is the enderal Launcher. exe. I suspect there may be a issue with the launcher itself or a seperate dependency that needs to be installed that is not included with this game. TESV that i have binded to my steam account loads up and plays with no issue.

Well the devs have zero idea why i cant play it on my own machine. Then I am at a loss why it gets blocked :/

Game worked fine this morning. I got an update and now the launcher will not launch the game. As indicated by others, everything else works but the Start Enderal button.

thanks, I have tried all your suggestions, yet game will NOT launch.
Install / un-install 3 times, set everything to 'run as admin', firewall not blocking, reboot PC,
cannot even get to launcher !

Window 10 home, X64, Intel I5-7600 K, 32Gb Ram, GTX 1070

Do you have Steam and your games in Windows protected folders?

yes, and, Steam and Skyrim and all Steam games run fine

Does anyone else have any other suggestions that I may explore?

I went to the folder and ran the program directly. The launcher was already loaded, then I went to the Steam Common folder under Enderal and ran skse_loader.exe directly. Worked from there.

you could look at that log i told you about before, see what might be causing trouble. mine doesnt appear to show any problems, just an abrupt exit of the program at the end of the log.

other than that (as far as i know), our only sure options are a new steam account and fresh install of windows... basically another computer

maybe search for the same problem on google using skyrim (and SKSE), instead of enderal? it could be that the same problem affects regular skyrim players as well and there is a fix that will work for us too.

The folder is empty. I only been able to play the game thru geforce now beta which is a cloud computer so it wont let me browse the folders on that. But on my actual hardware, the launcher does not load up at all.

how do you start up this game

i open up the launcher and click start enderal and nothing happens do i need to have skyrim installed or what

The classic version of Skyrim must be in your Steam library. It does not need to be installed.

I had the similar issue, but mine was a crash. After a few try, i realised that i receiving the crash from the options under optimisation settings. You need to click to off oneTweak or ENBoost. If it'll not help the problems you have, try inactive both.

i tried running it as adminitrason and turing off onetweak and enbboost and it still doesnt work
