Can't pick up some books (used to be able to in previous playthrough)
For some reason the game doesn't register some books/letters as being "there", there's no option to read or pick them up.

Tried: restarting the game, verifying files. After that, this particular note (in burned off fishing lodge) disappeared completely. I can't find it even by loading older saves in which i haven't discovered the location yet.
It's a new playthrough, started just yesterday, so all patches also apply.

That happens to me sometimes too (although not very often). When it does, I just quick-save on the spot, exit the game completely, and then re-load the save. It's corrected the issue every time, so far.
Thanks, i'll try it next time i run into the issue. For now i found that all books that didn't work for me completely disappeared even on an older savefile, so i can't test that.

P/S: This has also worked for me with items like potions, spell tomes, and spare parts, etc - but I've also deduced that there seem to be some items that just aren't intended to be picked up (although I'm not sure that the note in your screenshot is one of them).
I know that there's plenty of static items, i played the game before. Things that i tried to pick up (the note on the screenshot and 2 spell books) are supposed to be usable. I didn't have this issue in playthrough of original Enderal and when the game just launched on steam.

(I confess: I'm a n00b - I've only played the Steam version and this is my very 1st playthrough, so I'm still learning stuff. :steammocking:)
It's ok! SureAI actually changed plenty of old stuff on top of adding new content (and i dropped my first steam playthrough relatively early), so i'm discovering a lot of new things myself. I just know those particular things used to work before.

the static objects of normally interactable things is infuriating. Whats worse is that its also used for things that would normally be harvestable alchemy ingredients, so you never know which bush is usable or static till you walk up to it. Its really my only major complaint about the mod, and i hate it so very much, there are tons of boxes and barrels and even items on the ground that you just can't touch.

Recently found a cave with a knocked over bookshelf and several books, all spellbooks, laying near each other, only 1 could be interacted with, made me want to climb the walls.
Like i already said, i know that there are static objects, and those three i tried to pick up, i picked up in my previous playthroughs. Thats how i know its a bug.
Either way, it doesn't explain why they completely despawned after reloading an earlier save file, where i haven't even reached locations they were in yet.
