The game will not load past the title screen after starting a new game
When I try to start Enderal, the game just stays on the Skyrim logo with the smoke effect going behind it, and the music is playing. The game never goes past that part or displays an error message. I have uninstalled and reinstalled Skyrim, Enderal, and the Skyrim Extended Skeleton thing. I have tried to run it with Steam on and off, and I do not have any other programs running in the background. What am I doing wrong?

Remove Enderal.ini and EnderalPrefs.ini from Documents\My Games\Enderal\ and restart the launcher and the game.

If that does not work, copy over Enderal_default.ini and EnderalPrefs_default.ini from Steam\steamapps\common\Enderal\ into the directory mentioned above. Rename them to Enderal.ini and EnderalPrefs.ini and replace the existing ones with these two files.

Stuck on main menu
Title. The game gets stuck after I start new game, Music still plays and menu animations still move. I've seen a couple of posts with the same problem but I've not found a solution in there. I tried turning onetweak on and off, I reinstalled and it didn't work.

The game is on C. Just tried running as admin, it didn't work.

I have the same problem.

Hey guys. If you still have the problem, check if you've granted firewall permissions to the launcher and skse_loader.exe, as well, on your antivirus or similar software.

The game has permissions. The problem is still here. Thanks for the suggestion though.

The text on the main screen denoting options was missing. I had to check youtube for another playthrough to see how the options were organized. After pressing down and enter, I was able to start the game. Very strange.

As mentioned in many posts, by other users and mods - you need to turn off onetweak and then change your resolution and widescreen. Play around with those settings. That seems to be the solution that works for most.

I've tried the what you guys mentioned it but it doesn't seem to work.
Details:
-I tried running the skse loader as admin instead but the same problem occurs
-I've turned onetweak off and messed around with different resolutions and it didn't do anything.
Should the game be installed outside of steam's common folder?

Installing Skyrim (and thus enderal) in system folders is not a good idea. For some it works, for others not. Having it on your main drive (or at least internal 2nd drive is recommended.) C/games is ideal.

I moved the game to D/, Nothing seems to work. I don't have skyrim installed, I thought it wasn't necessary to run Enderal.

I changed the install folder but it hasn't solved the issue. I reinstalled steam and the game, and this error showed up after I click start Enderal in the launcher : http://prntscr.com/mlyfj6
It didn't interfere with anything, and it doesn't show up again afterwards, it's just a first time thing. Maybe there's a clue.
Installing skyrim doesn't seem to help too

Thank you for your help. Changing the resolution was the solution.

I'm glad you could fix the issue, you made me attempt the resolution fix again , but I noticed that when I change the resolution, nothing actually changes, text and the logo size on the main menu is still the same. did that happen to you too? how did you go about it?
