Bug with A Drop in the Ocean quest.

I have experienced an odd occurence with the quest A Drop in the Ocean. I came back through the portal, after following Yuslan to the house, incapacitating him and carrying him back through the portal. But, after that selection is made, i appear back in the cellar room, and Yuslan is nowhere to be seen. In the journal, all my steps are completed, up to Carry Yuslan through the portal, which is also completed in the journal, but no other steps appear, and the quest doesnt end or change.

Why do you need to knock him out?
I just used the rhetorics dialogue choice to convince him to return with me. and it played out well. Though I have no idea what level of rhetorics is required to get that choice.

Did you try any other dialogue choices?

I dont have high enough rhetorics for it. If you do the other option he says "Then you'll have to force me" or something like that. and you fight, you incapacitate him, and get a popup option to drag him to the portal

Dam that would be a long way to drag him ...
Don't suppose you have a save before you reenter the portal to try redoing that part of the quest?

can anyone give the quest id so we can change the state of this one to complete?? i can´t find it anywhere

When I have played through this several times .. obviously the easiest method is with the rhetorics dialogue response. As with that Yuslan apologies and follows you.

If you fight him and I'm playing as a mage with Elementalism, In fighting him I vapourized him into a pile of ash ... which fell into the ocean at end of the pier. Knowing what he does at the end of game I attempted to leave the reality ... nope cannot ... dam.

Went back found his pile of ash moved around and had a spot where dialogue option comes up with two options...
first option was ...Drag body back to teleport
second option was ... step back.

I chose step back and was immediately teleported out of the reality with yuslan alive in front of the planewalker device.

@†inanimate carbon rod† I'd still advise trying to solve this in game than just ending with a setstage command as that will undoubtedly muck up your game.

If you verify your game files first, restart your computer and reload a save before going into that reality I'm sure it will work for you.

(verify game files -right click Enderal Forgotton Stories in steam library select properties, local tab, verify cache let steam check and download any missing files, before restarting computer.)
