Non Steam Skyrim

Any idea how to make the mod recognize my nonSteam installed Skyrim? I already added it to library, still wont recognize it.

all legal copies require Steam and we don't support any pirated software.

when you buy Skyrim on Uplay it gives you a Steam key

I don't know whether GoG has the original or just the SE version (and it won't matter if they only have the SE version), but it doesn't give you a Steam key since it's an unrelated store, so there could be an issue there.

GOG doesn't have Skyrim at all, but it does have the other Elder Scrolls games, though. If Skyrim had come to GOG then the jungle rumble would have started, believe me. There are a lot of people waiting for it to happen, including me :D

wrong, all legal copies do not require steam, you can get a legal copy on gamepass for pc

Comment was made in 2021, in 2021 the only place you could get a legit copy of Skyrim was Steam.

2022 this changed.
