Where after 50 game levels my character had grown a full head size larger.
That can be fixed in game by using console.
So make sure your not in combat turn camera so that you can see your characters face.
Open console with ~
Click on your face so that your ID appears on screen it should be 14
If it doesn't appear type tfc 1 enter that moves the camera while freezing game allowing you to get closer and hopefully allow you to click on face and make your character ID current.
retype tfc 1 ( or use up arrow to retype last command ) enter
To change scale if you feel your bigger then you want to select a smaller number than 1
So type
setscale 0.95 enter
~ close console
As you entered that setscale command your character should have shrunk a bit. If you were standing next to someone else as a comparison You'd then know if that was enough.
hope that helps
Wow, thanks! I hated being a tundra giant lol!
There have been several times when I used the Setscale command to help adjust the height between two characters. Especially later on with having a romantic scene to make sure both people actually match head height.
Knowing that the default is 1.0 and it only needs very minor adjustments to correct it.
:edit I will ad I think it comes about due to changing from first to third person camera. Which I tend to do when I swap between archery or combat and then back to 3rd person for exploration. So over a long time the game sort of forgets the height that your person should be.
LOL smartarse!
