Bad performance help
I'm running on:

1070ti
i7 7700
16 gig ram

And I can't maintain 60 fps at 1080p. I lowered AA to 2x and AS to 4x, and I'm still getting tons of drops down to the low 50s all over the place.

Is there some setting I can adjust to maintain a constant 60fps?

You'll likely get occasional drops in the 50s, even with a super computer, because the old Skyrim engine struggles to load the object-dense environments in this conversion. However, if you haven't already done so, be sure to set FixLag=false in the enblocal.ini file that exists in the game directory and try upping ReservedMemorySizeMb to 512.

I adjusted both those values, and it didn't help.

Just ran RTSS, and I'm actually getting drops into the 30s... like when I look at that ruin on the beach west of the starting area. That whole area is constantly spiking between 60, 40 and 30 when walking around.

Any other tips?

(Other games run totally fine on this system at ultra, maintaining a smooth 60 fps)

Only thing you can do is wait for the eventual SSE Port. The level of detail is just to much for the old engine, it doesn't matter how powerful your PC is.

You could try disabling one tweak / enboost, to see if either one is at fault, and if without them, your game runs better? Also, are you running any other software like overlays, MSI Afterburner, etc? ENBoost does not like those, according to its author, so there might be a conflict. Also, there is a patch incoming, it might fix your problems.

Hey I have the same card and noticed the exact same thing at those ruins, would drop down to low 30's. As already said it's a problem with Creation 32-bit engine.

The "solution" for me is to reduce some draw distances. I moved mine all down about 1/4 (and distant LOD onto High down from Ultra) and it now only drops to low 40's in that same area. That's probably the best you can do, unless you're willing to reduce even more.

Absurd LOW FPS
I had played this mod 1 years ago and my fps was fine. But now its really low. I reduced to very low but it didnt change it all. Even in main menu there is 30-35fps...

Yeah, that is not really much information.
What are your system specs? Without them we cant really see what the problem could be.

Framerate Problems
I'm getting single digit framerates when looking in certain directions.
My specs are:
FX-8320
8gb ram
r9 390
The fx cpu's are known for running like crap on bethesda games, and I've recently ordered a Ryzen 2600 with 16gb of ram.
I was just wondering if the mod itself runs like crap regardless of specs, or if it's just fx being trash.

FPS drops sometimes
Any fix?
CementStairs Feb 16, 2019 @ 2:53am
Also my FPS are locked on 60. Is there any way to unlock it?

The mod itself runs badly in some areas (but not THAT badly as you experience it). Sadly, the bottleneck is the old skyrim here. You can tune down the graphics settings to increase the performance though.

Yeah thanks mate, just wanted to know if the upgrade would make a difference significant enough to hold off playing until the parts arrive.

It's 60fps for me most of the time. The lowest i've seen so far was 42fps, but i haven't made it very far yet.
