Lockpicking Skillbooks

Is there any merchants in Ark that sell skill books for all 4 levels of lock picking? So far I've found that they sell only master level books at Erbgoth"s leather goods, and I dont wanna waste my money on master skill books when my level in lock picking is only 20.

Try the bank in the Marketplace Quarter for the first three levels (Apprentice, Adept, Expert), and The Gold Sickle Trading Post for Master books.

P/S: I just noticed that Samuel Goldenford (in Ark Marketplace) sells all 4 levels of the Lockpicking skill books (he's the outdoor merchant closest to the smelter).

Is it (still) possible to open every lock with Lockpicking at 25 or something?

I don't think so. (Not unless you're using scrolls, anyway.) I say that because I wasn't able to actually pick Master locks until I got the perk from the (Trickster?) memory tree, and my lockpicking skill was/is 35.

It is.
You have a choice of either leveling your Lockpick to 75, or you can get the lockpicking perks instead. You don't need both.

Archer branch skills. I already opened several master chests with 25 lock-picking. You dont need to waste craft points on this.
