How to quick equip a group of 2 different 1 handed weapons?
I made a group of 2 different swords and saved the equip state. But when I his the number (2) for example, it just equips the weapon assigned to that number and not both.

By default group keybinds are F1, F2 etc, if you saved weapons under second groupslot, and have same weapon also saved as vanilla Skyrim hotkey 2, then pressing 2 uses just equip one weapon command and not equip group feature.
You can check your SkyUI keybinds in mcm settings.
Looking commends generally in Enderal forums, it’s amazing how little ppl know about SkyUI one of best feature.

You have to go the group, and press use group or equip group. Whatever it is.

So no way to hot key it?

Nah...doesn't seem like it. I'd only use this function to switch entire loadouts.

Have you tried pressing the hotkey two times?

At least for magic it works.
When I press the hotkey for a spell once, I take it into one hand. Another time and I use it in both hands.

Wondering if that also works for weapons.

I haven't played around with groupings but I guess that works for you as you're just equipping the same spell twice. This may not work for items as even if you equip two copies of the same weapon they're still different items, if it did work it would only be for identical items and not say a weapon and a shield.

That's exactly what I was on about and you are right.
It doesn't work for a weapon and a shield. These have to have an own hotkey for each, unfortunately.

Groupings? Guess I have missed something in the question of the OP. oO

Thought he meant how to equip stacked weapons (identical weapons on the same stack).
My bad.

On the other side, is there something like a "torch hotkey"? It's a bit annoying going into the menu everytime. :/

If you look across the bottom of the favourites menu there are a number of slots you can change between so you can have different sets of gear easily accessible. This is helpful as having multiple loadouts all favourites otherwise floods your favourite list meaning you're no longer saving time other just going into your inventory.

OP wants to press the shortcut and equip everything in that grouping rather than pressing the shortcut and just selecting the grouping.

I believe you equip groups with F keys
The author of this thread has indicated that this post answers the original topic.

Thanks for the explanation. oO
I didn't even know about this feature.

THIS! ! ! Thank you. The groups are accessed via F keys. I just assume that F5 and F9 are out of question

F5 to F8 are unbound by default, but you can go to SkyUI menu and bind them like that or to any other free button. You just have to rebind quick from F5 to something else, if you decide to use F5 to F8 ;)

F5 is quicksave, F9 is quickload, hence the assumption these were unavailable. This is pretty much a PC standard.

Quicksave and quickload default keybinds are not carved into stone. You can easily rebind both from Skyrim controls menu. After that you can happily assign SkyUI last 4 set slots to F5 to F8. SkyUI has 8 equipment save slots total, not 9, so if using only F-keys, you don't need F9 ;)
