always loot every enemy. one of them was on a normal non named undead (still a higher tier creature tough but not named)
the wandering mage set also seems to have new meshes now. looks way cooler imo.
so far neither of these 2 sets has anything to offer for melee classes but i can only see the stats on the boots and chests. neither chest has a melee bonus like skaragg does. 1 set is also clearly a heavy mage set.
i hope there is more highend weapon crafts aswell. that bow looks insanely promesing.
but given how overpowered enchanting is currently with the new perk i am not sure if sets are still the way to go especially later on with higher level.
there IS a 3rd new set. (never saw this before in old enderal) and this time its for melee characters. its funny how i found the blueprints for the chestpieces only so far XD oddly it has 1 bonus less than skaragg but armor rating is the same and looks WAY cooler than skaragg. it looks similar to selnas chestpiece but a bit different from the crafting preview screen (not able to craft it yet. just tested with console to see the stats and know what class its good for) its called heavenstorm set.
same as the other 2 : 80 handicraft required. also found a blueprint for a 2handed sword. requires 85! handicraft. highest so far. the weapon it makes is an old one but i hope they took the feedback and buffed this thing as it was underpowered back then.
Upon doing some digging in console I found that there's a really good 1-handed sword called the Perfect thorium sword, requiring 85 handicraft. What was the name of the 2-hander you found?
There are also some crazy new backpacks one boosts enchanting and another boosts alchemy and smithing, the latter requires 90 handicraft.
Any news on that bow you found, where it was or how to get the myrad bones to craft it?
I really want those backpacks though.
is the bonus to 2handed only? as the chestpiece boosts 1 handed only.
the 2hander is black windows elegy. was in the mod before. its not new. just it required 85 crafting is new. so probaly got boosted.
i will not post locations sorry. that is the ultimate spoiler and ruins exploreing so please dont do that.
a backback that boosts anything besides carryweight? that is definitly new. the arcanists backback was 90 carryweight before but nothing else. required 80 crafting and is in the mod like before. blueprints are in the same spots probaly. but 90 requirement? have not seen these yet at all. kinda odd tough. if you need 90 handcraft to get that bonus in the first place it has to be 10 points otherwise its useless. as boosting that skill over 100 has no effect on weapon or armor improvements.
i wonder if boosted skills even count for handicrafting. never tried that.
i think i know where the myrad bone is found. if i am correct with that you can only get 1 of these. while massive skulls i have now found 6 already.
no idea where to look for Magic thorium ingot though. Probably late game item that can be found through main quest. Maybe im wrong )
that weapon is currently useless as your guess is correct. so that recipe beeing so easy to grab (dont need to do the quest just steal it the workshop is not guarded at all and there is noone inside) is actually completly pointless.
sadly they put the only magical ingot in a place where you would actually get a sword which is virtually just as good as this one without the handicraft requirement. which completly defeats its point as at that moment 85% of the mainquest is already over. its way too close to the point of no return.
oh and its missable permamently aswell on top. as the window to get it is very limited inside the mainquest.
i already suggested them to put this ingot elsewhere to make this weapon more useful. will see what they come up with. the eqvilant bow and 2hand sword can be crafted at anytime. so the current ingot placement makes no sense tbh.
