Fast start mod - does it exist ?
After doing the intro a fair number of times it becomes a chore to sit and wait for it to finish - same as the normal intro to skyrim.

I was wondering if there is a mod that places your character on the shoreline, opens the character creation menu so you can change whatever settings you want and lets you start the game fast.

This would be instead of the standard Crispy meat > cutscene > Ship > character creation > brawl > in engine cutscene > Wake up on shoreline.

Does this exist yet ?

You can maybe play through it one more time. Make a save at the shore and back it up in the save folder by rar'ing it.

A good idea but the problem is you are stuck with whatever race you chose before you end up on the shoreline - character creation happens before then - and saving before then still requires sitting through some story line elements that are near identical for all characters.

Best alternative is to make a save right before the character creation menu; then pick a race, get to shore, and make another save there. If you want to play as that race again you have a good starting point at the shore. Otherwise, if you want to try a new race, you can start right from the creation menu.

Use the console and create a named save at/before character creation. At least then you'll only have the brawl and the deck scene to go through.

You can just use the showracemenu console command and change race. Really. It's not as hard as you're making it seem.

That's real close to what I'm looking for - i'll keep an eye on it and see if the creator updates it to do what I want it to do. Thanks for the help.

Would you mind not to overreact?
Calling a user names that tried to help isn't helpful either.

No one melted down that I mod this game.
I provide fixes for these nasty grey faces.
Not speaking about my old mod here on the workshop, as I am currently playing through the most recent version and found a lot NPCs with the grey face issue.

Some of them have even such a stubborn setting that generating the meshes and textures won't fix it at all (even though the textures are generated in different colors).
So I had to include these special NPCs into an own ESP to change their whole body color to grey so they match with the head color. XD
These are just Starlings and Aeterna, so their grey, unhealthy body color shouldn't matter that much.

A funny thing is, that I even came across some NPCs that are completely grey.
I thought they have a grey face, but their body color matches without me intervening in any bit.
Guess the devs themselves seem to used that wonky fix and painted some of the stubborn grey faces NPCs totally grey. XD

Currently, I've fixed 20 NPCs and probably more to come. oO
