How many skill trees can I unlock?
Is it possible to, lets say, put 1 point in every skill tree and use all skill trees?

Or am I only allowed to use a certain number of skilltrees once i have already put points in them?

Thx in advance

You'll get enough memory points to max three trees.
Alright thx guys:ily:

You DONT need to 'max out' three trees- there are perks on almost EVERY stone that I feel i NEED in game, and use- for fighting, crafting, enchanting, sneaking and spell use...unfortunately i never seem to have activated ANY of the 'special' permanent class bonuses because of this oh well 'jacks' (of all trades) once again get screwed...

This system is put in place because you aren't supposed to do that in the first place. If every character you make is a jack of all trades then they end up being the same character, which is extremely boring. This system makes it so you need to make a new build for each character which makes them feel different each time.

Being able to do EVERYTHING is NOT boring. Its ALSO the primary reason why players enjoyed Morrowind, Oblivion and Skyrim- you could be ANYTHING you wanted, rather than being Stuck (RE: limited as hell) in a 'class' or 'profession. Of course, you can STILL play in whatever play style you wish- but with the SAME character, rather than having to begin again OVER AND OVER AND OVER...oi....anyone who blindly limits themselves in this game from the outset....is simply playing with one arm behind their back (literally and metaphorically). As for your final statement- ALSO untrrue- as long as you can continue to gain levels (I have YET to reach a level limit) at 55+) - you continue to gain skill points, crafting points and memory points- and thus, eventually will be able to do everything in-game. So- be whatever you want to be in this game, or everything, but you SHOULDN'T be required to start all over again just to make minor or major changes....just my opinion...

I agree with William. Friends ask me what sort of character I like making in Skyrim and my usual answer is "a god." Mastering all the crafting professions is fun, it's something I enjoy. Changing up my play style during game play is something I enjoy. But it sounds like in Enderal I can't become a masterful warrior then put my next X levels into magical skills to become a masterful wizard.

I have no interest in replying the game with a new character to be a new class. I want to complete the whole game, every play style, with this character. If there is a level cap (I've only gotten to 13, just got the game recently) and I run out of memory points, I hope someone makes a mod to fix that soon.

Right on William. I too prefer the jack of all trades character because most games, imo, don't allow specialization to seem meaning full within the concept of the the total game. I think Gothic 2 got it right but none of the ES games seem to have that knack.

Additionally, I usually put in hundreds of hours on my open world RPG playthroughs. I explore just about everything when I play and usually have nearly 100% of the map revealed. I simply have no interest in replaying and starting all over again.

BTW, 90 hours in Enderal and I just started chp 2.

However, I do not begrudge gamers who like to play a game with different characters in different playthroughs. It's just not my style.

As far as skill trees, well I miss my paper manuals because I would love to study those trees a little closer. I just can't take my 42 inch monitor to the bathroom . . . . .

. . .gracefully . . .

6 learning points x 70 levels = 420 points / 12 skills = 35 points in each skill at level 70

4 crafting points x 70 levels = 280 points / 6 skills = 46 points in each skill at level 70

Even assuming bonuses gotten various ways in the game, you can safely assume you would need to exceed level 100 to get anywhere near maxing out every skill.

I don't even need to max our every skill. Sure, in Skyrim I work on doing exactly that, but I'm ok not learning things like two handed weapons or light armor. But I really do like sneaking around and killing people with arrows before they realize I'm there almost as much as I enjoy being up close in melee combat. And magic...there will be some magical disciplines I could skip, but others I want. It doesn't seem I'll be able to even pick up the ones I really want the way the game's currently set up and that bothers me.

This is a single player game, who cares if my character can get overpowered after I've leveled up a lot? Does that affect someone else's play through in any way?

On the topic of leveling up, I'd definitely appreciate more rapidly respawning enemies than what the game seems to have as that would accelerate leveling. I've gone into dungeons I completed very early on and while some of the loot (not chests) has respawned, the enemies haven't. Hey, free loot, sure...but I want the xp, too.

I need to write an independent post about my time in Enderal, plainly.

Enemies in the over world seem to respawn as quickly as 3 days. I haven't bothered doing any real testing for the actual number.

Dungeons, if set like Skyrim: Reset after 10 days if not "cleared" and reset after 30 days if "not cleared." Again, no clue what this actually is in Enderal.

Conclusion: You can sleep for days until things respawn. Most people don't want to wade through the same enemies over and over again, but you're welcome to grind away.
