Any ENB preset for Enderal?
Just wondering if there's any ENB preset available for this standalone version. Or is anyone working on building a custom preset for Enderal?

There is a built in option in Settings in the Launcher.

I suppose that's ENBboost for Enderal to improve its performance, not to enhance graphics.

Thanks for updating me.

no. enderal uses enboost , not ENB.

@echoness there are 2 presets on nexus. both of them were made 2 years ago i believe. so they should still work with enderal old regions, but im not so sure about the DLC areas. you need to test that yourself.

I saw some Enderal compatible ENBs, some of them require Skyrim.ini modification, but in standalone version there's no such file.

yes, you need to modify enderal.ini instead

Thanks for the heads up, I will give it a try.

Enderal has only one issue that stops normal ENB presets from being compatible: The whole Enderal is in an "interior" area.

ENB has separat settings for interior/exterior areas and some effects don't work on interior areas.

If you want you can take an ENB preset and copy the ExteriorDay values to InteriorDay and the ExteriorNight values to InteriorNight and it should work pretty well. (exterior also has dawn/dusk values that do not exist for interior)

You can install ENBs for Enderal as if it was Skyrim.

It is possible that some objects may not play nice with ENBs. I don't know if the subsurface scattering patch for vanilla Skyrim works/is needed for Enderal.

That is not true at all, you can't have terrain in an interior. Are you sure you're thinking about the same thing, this is Enderal we're talking about not Moonpath to Elsweyr. Enderal's worldspace is very much and Exterior Worldspace.

I use RUDY enderel ENB...it changes the game quite a bit though ..but it looks fantastic.

the only ENB I can find on ENderal Nexus is S-ENB. Is this what you guys are talking about?

Forgive my ignorance but I searched in nexusmods for Rudy and didn’t find anything. Where do I get this? Best in mind I don’t have Skyrim installed at the moment, only enderal. I hope I don’t need to install Skyrim, I’m not playing it (having already put in like 400 hours back in 2011/2012) and I don’t want to sacrifice the drive space.

OK, I found and downloaded Rudy ENB for Enderal. The installation instructions say "- Download latest ENB - http://enbdev.com/mod_tesskyrim_v0315.htm, ( a black arrow at the bottom of the page )."
but there aint no 'black aarow' (download link) at the bottom of that page. What do I download to get this working?

Ok i just had a look ..incase you dont understand as the instructions are not very good . Here is what you do.. download the enb binerys from here. scroll down to the very bottem and you will see the download. http://enbdev.com/mod_tesskyrim_v0407.htm and download the enderal enb from the nexus under optional files. scroll down you will see it. https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/41482?tab=files navigate to were your enderal installation is on your computer. open the enb binerys zip that you downloaded. open the WrapperVersion and just drop and drag d3d9.dll , enbhost.exe and enblocal.ini into the enderal directory. (were TESV.exe is.

then open the RUDY ENB zip. choose what version you want. ie reguler or sombra. open the folder and drop and drag all the files and folders in that directory to the same directory you did with the ENB binery...if you want the optional DOF. just open the folder and drop and drag the enbseries folder into the same directory. accepting the overrite when asked. for the Data folder and extras..you have 2 ways you can do this. either just open the folder and drop and drag the two folders mesh and textures. into your Enderal Data dirctory. overriting when asked. for the extras "little anoying things fixed" you have to open that folder. then pick what ones you want from the folders and drop and drag them to your Data directory. .. for example if you open paintings. and you want the 4k one.. you would drop and drag the Mesh folder to your Data directroy. open the 4k folder in the zip and drop and drag the texture folder to the data directroy. accepting the overriting when asked... alterntivly for a cleaner installation.. you can recreate the zip..with all the textures and meshes as one.. and use your mod manger to install it that way.

Then edit the skryimprefs.ini and set it as explained on the mod page for Rudy. That bit is not hard to follow.

thank you thank you thank you!!! I really appreciate your taking the time to write out this explanation. I did everything and I think it's working, the game looks great.
That said, there is a message right before the game starts that says "patch speedhack enboost turned on in enblocal.ini graphic modification disabled"
is this s a problem? does this mean the ENB preset/mod is not actually working?

o yea forgot to mention you will have to disable Antialising and anistrophic filttering and ENB boost in the game launcher. Did you edit the skyrimpref.ini settings as said on the mod page? ENB's will not work fully otherwise. you can edit the enblocal.ini to enable anistrophoic filttering for the game. i think now you can do it in the game using the ENB interface.
