(I avoid using any weapon that has a 'charge' which needs replenishing, though, just because I *hate* having to manage a supply soul gems for that purpose.)

I don't use mods in Enderal if I can help it. It tends to keep things running smoother, in my view.
(Besides, I'm old school: I really don't mind playing it the way the development team intended for it to be, 99.999% of the time. ;)
(As I indicated previously) I normally don't use weapons with enchantments that require re-charging, but I enchanted this nifty War Axe I just found and then grabbed some filled (Common) soul gems and set out to test it:
With filled soul gems in inventory, my weapon inventory window open and the (partially) depleted weapon selected (highlighted), the T/Charge option appears on the menu at the bottom of the screen: https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=1890836713 Once the 'T' option is selected, the 'Choose Soul Gem to Use' prompt screen appears, on the right. (I had only Common soul gems on me, so that's the only type of filled gem that appears on the selection list.) https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=1890836778 Mouse-clicking the selected soul gem in the list screen results in the weapon being (re)charged and the soul gem that was used vanishes from inventory: https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=1890836882 This might not be precisely how it was done in Skyrim, but I think it's pretty much close enough. ;)
