In general, no. You should only use mods for Enderal that were specifically created for Enderal.

As soon one mod needs one dlc then it is one big no. some mods do work.
There is one list of mods that works.
But many of the common mods are already included in the game so you dont need that many.

In general, use anything that you want that works.

If the armor mod places the new items at a location in Skyrim then no as that place doesn't exist in Endreal. But it if adds them to merchants or loot tables then possibly. It depends on the particular armor mod.

Google "mods that work with Endreal". There is a Google online spreadsheet that lists dozens of compatible mods.

I will also suggest you always read comments posted in the mod comment section. Some mods work straight out of the box, some may have stopped being compatible. Using mods is always a gamble.

Here are some I use that work fine with Endreal (which is a mod to Skyrim by the way)
EAT 2.5 (arrow damage increased 2.5x)
EAT 100 (increases the speed of arrows 100%)
Difficult Archery 30 (decreases enemy accuracy 30% so they miss once in a while)

These first three ^^^ will increase arrow damage and speed but reduce accuracy, making archery more deadly and more exciting. You will want to make use of cover. Using Engarde below will also make arrows wiz by in slow time. You are like Neo doing bullet time with arrows. You can and will still get hit.. so it's not a OMG cheat. And when you do get hit.. it will hurt.

Engarde (changes combat so power attacks, and arrows, occur in slow time allowing you to dodge out of the way. You can still get hit but this increases your chance of survival and makes combat much more fun)
TK Dodge (allows you to dodge attacks. Dodge roll is included standard but dodge side step requires FINIS. Works with Engarde above
TK recoil (adds recoil to bows and staves. Improves immersion)
Books are knowledge (reading some books increases knowledge points)
Detect Dead spell (Endreal version, very useful for detecting skellys)
Food regeneration fixes (food is slower heal over time )
Factions fix (Animals and bandits will attack each other and not all gang up on you)
Glowing ore veins (makes spotting them easier)
Immersive torch (larger radius, brighter, torchier looking)
Left hand rings (Craft, enchant and wear left hand rings)
Proper torch wield (adjust torch so it isn't in your face blinding you)
vwr Wet Eyes (makes your eyes blurry under water)
Trinkets on neck (can wear a trinket and amulet)
Vex Candle MageLight (changes the color of the candle and Magelight spells)
Amnesia Shrine (allows you to respec skills and memory points)
Campfire with Endreal patch. Buiild campfires to cook at, make tents with sleeping bags)
iHUD (Immersive HuD removes all HuD displays (including stealth eye icon. Health, Mana, and Stamina bars only show up when below 100%. Compass can be toggled on or off)
Dynamic Fast travel (can only use if teleport scrolls are allowed).
Item recycling (smelt down/disassemble more items)
Improved Spider, Troll, Wolf, Foxes, Skeevers mesh/textures (different mods, no ESPs)
No more burping in taverns
No orb when using the candle light spell
Deadly Ice folder edition (changes the ice bolt and spear effects, reduces the size and makes them dissipate)
Flat 3D map High resolution with Ark (very nice looking map)
Quivers back on the back (moves from hip back to the back)
Realistic treasure. (No more opening a pot of gold to find 8 coins)
Lens flare remover (removes the blinding lens flare)
Blocking animation pack (makes blocking look like blocked attacks are deflected)
Marketplace house redone (makes the Ark marketplace house more player friendly)
Electrify (Changes shock effects to really look like lightning bolts - very cool looking)
Better Jumping (allows you to jump higher to clear fences and get on ledges)
Realistic AI detection (Changes how NPCs detect you and how long the keep looking for you)

TLDR; there are a LOT of mods that work with Endreal. It is a master ESM so other mods will load after it.

Remember to make a backup before installing additional mods - in case you run into problems. Even with all of these - plus more - Endreal is very stable. Much better than vanilla Skyrim.
