Damned it be! As I just wanted to craft starling sword and I can't find ancient nation metal anymore, as I feel that there was scattered everywhere across the Enderal when I didn't needed it now I can't find a single bit...

I had the same problem, you encounter a decent bit of it at the start of the game in the temple, but I sold that off, not knowing at the time I couldn't just buy a dozen bars at the nearest blacksmith. was kicking myself for that for a bit.

btw news, found a bunch of scrap metals of an ancient nation in sun temple cronicum on first floor shelves and took them all.

The merchant at the Golden Sickle always has both ingots (one or two, I think) and a big piece of scrap metal (x5 ingots) whenever I visit him. You might want to check there too.
