Where is the soul trap mace, or other normal soul trap weapon.

Im moderately high level and putting a few points into enchanting and playing a Drifter (lycanthrope, vagrant). I found a soul trap mace earylish on in a tank playthrough but have been going through all earlyish locations I had missed this time and just can't find it. I could really do with filling the odd gem and really can't be doing with spells....

What you're looking for is called Souleater's Mace but I don't remember where I got it. I'm almost certain that I found it after I arrived in Ark though, which would mean that I picked it up somewhere in The Heartlands. (I want to say I looted it from one of the Ark Bounty quest mobs, but I'm really not sure. I wish I could be more helpful. Good like finding it. ;)

Thanks. I've done all the bounty quests ive previously done so mucy have missed it, darn might go back to one of the locations though.

Can anyone confirm, or where theres another soul trap weapon.

I believe it was the quest cave where the fires were (to not spoil too much).
One of the dead friendlies...

Interesting... I'm pretty sure that for me it was not the enemy boss, so check everyone if you do not see it.

I was almost certain that I looted it from an Ark Bounty fugitive, but if not, it makes sense that some sort of boss dropped it. (It just sucks not being able to remember which one. )

The Souleaters Mace is a drop while following the main quest line, not a bounty quest.

Yes, if you don't count staves.

That's true. You can get it from Mercenary Leader during Taming the Waves quest, and only from him, unless you're using mods.
