Focus (1st mage talent) help???

How do I use it? I put one point into it but I can't "equip it" to cast or trigger it. How do it use the 15 secs of reduced spell cost? Does it trigger on it's own? Someone with more experience please explain, I'd appreciate it

it is the same as the shouts from Skyrim. You equip it in the magic menu and then use it with the designated button (I believe it is "Y", not sure though).

Z on QWERTY keyboards, Y on QWERTZ keyboards. Unless you changed the button mapping.
But you have to equip it first in the magic menu.
