Phasmalist Spell Help

I have Loram. I gave him two extra spells, Grounding VI and Spell Ward V, and now he won't cast any, including Firebolt V and Life Drain V, his original spells. I also gave him the Lightborn's Memory sword and Skybreaker armor set. Don't know if that would change anything.

I didn't do many experiments with spells on loram, but he never cast spells other than his talents with a weapon (1h or 2h) equipped and he does not use talents with a shield equipped.
I just assumed the weapons were better in his priority list or something like that.
I would like to hear more on the choosing process of apparitions.

Yes! Im not sure if i prefer the fast moves of a 1h with no shield tho. It's certainly more damage with a 2h.

Do you know if they will wear rings and amulets and such too?

Yes, you can equip an amulet to your amulet! And all the other gear too.
