When this happens to me (not just with Ice Claws, but pretty much anything that can be picked up), I save on the spot, quit the game entirely (dunno if quitting to the title screen does the trick because I haven't tried it that way), and then reload that save from scratch.

Under ordinary circumstances this works every time (there was a bugged book in a mine once that it didn't help with, but it's since been fixed), and not being able to pick stuff up is something I run into only very occasionally. (You might want to check/report it on SureAI's Bugtracker if it happens to you more than that. Good luck.)

Agree with MikeBob2013 save and restart game is best and easiest solution for most things that don't work. It's like refresh the game memory so that it knows what it can do.

Whether that is dialogue that's not happening or items you cannot react with.

Try /tcl to get below/behind the surrounding terrain and then try to nab it from a different angle. I'm thinking it might just work.

The same thing is happening to me. m going to uninstall and reinstall and see if that changes anything.
