I'm excited for the two new empires near the end of the year. I own all the current ones and love the Definitive Edition. Played the heck out of the OG game back on disc until my keys ran out and had to buy the Complete Edition on Steam. Then the Definitive Edition.

You can't push a game with events and so on if you don't complete the development of pre game aspects of a game. Like lobby game\player\contacts management, online status, wishpering, post game score checking (allowing to check and talk without going back and forth to the map and to the score board in order to talk which is horrendous stuff), there are tons of QoL deficiencies in this game listed, over and over by people who care for the game since 30 years, we know what quality Ensemble Studios had, this is not a definitive edition. Make sure to fix that, remove all the unnecessary weight the game has with tons of un used files in the folders, make sure to allow players to check or send messages as a log so that not online players will receive them ...
It's just incredible the lack of leadership and direction the game has on the very basics, in order to function u need people who know what a RTS like AOE (had and) needs.

U have brought the scourge of "DLC" into this game too, ruining it. THis is not a game you base on DLC or u make of it a city builder or dolls playing experience. We are not doing reenactment here, we are playing first of all competitively, that is what a RTS is.
If u keep changing stats\units and so on u will make player have hard time learn how to play the game as always stuff does changes and strategies are ruined by your constant reset... this reset is disrespectful and is typical of present day "videogame" projects that just are there to steal data of players and make them grind infinitely instead to HAVE SOME DAMN PERSISTENCY.

A good game REMAINS A GOOD GAME, forever it is bought forever in sense also that it keeps getting bought by players and new comers. That is the focus of a company, make the base game be bought because it is good. U instead generate revenue with FOMO \ DLC trash.

Please stop this, we have told you this tons of times, you need serious consultancy by serious professionals, this is an extremely greedy and disheartened practice by Microsoft and their contracted parties.

I enjoy the direction you are developing the game. Can’t wait to see new DLC.:)

The announcement for AoE III: DE's release date with this upcoming dlc is probably coming October. We have known about this dlc for a very long time, but it is a little strange that Microsoft has made us wait so long to find out its release day when right now it is only one day away from reaching the first official day of Fall. I think that it is safe to assume the dlc is not coming during the fall part of this month because they probably would have announced its official release day earlier.

This is an event on your calendar. Is this the kind of content Mircosoft/Worlds Edge are supporting? Disgusting!

HEY AOE Devs can you please fix the CPU core utilisation issue, users started mentioning it 4 years ago. This is still a issue 4 years later, CPU 100% on two cores, and parks (in my case, the other 8 cores). GPU is running at ~35% capacity FYI
