A slight overreaction. Take a breath.
We all want more dlc for this game, and we are all disappointed that its delayed but its not the end of the world. Lots of other AOE content coming out.
You saw the Patch notes? is like a day of work, NO QoL, no Bugfixes, nothing only added numbers.... people musst understand if you wanna sell a game, you need to make a good game and not sell bullsh***t
What if they hire people instead of letting them go? So everyone wins? :D
Drink a glass of water, and follow that guy's advice and cool down, because you sound overemotional.
The game has been supported, for free, for 4 years after its release. Besides a few pad expansions, 3DE received a tonne of free content along with normal updates. It's not a live service game and it's clear it's WAY past the main phase of post-launch support.
Maybe stop teaching developers marketing as if you know anything, and try talking to players and convincing them to buy DLCs released for this game. If they would and this game was generating better revenue for the publisher- it would be also higher on the priority list and still would be receiving custom events, expansions, reworks of major systems etc.
Nobody is going to work for free, and if you're so upset about the scarcity of updates at this point- you're free to bring in your own funding to the project.
'listen to me, you need to make more stuff to make a game good, otherwise it's bs' - what a silly, extreme impudence. Listen to yourself.
After waiting 8 months for the DLC and the postponement, I was really disappointed. But the update announcement for October 24th with “adds quality of life updates” was a small consolation.
But there's nothing new here? no new units, no new map, not even any really interesting new deck card. Just balacing. That's not what I expected from “quality of life updates”.
It is highly likely that no work has been done on the game in recent months.
There are so many things you can do to make them viable that would have been better. Increase their cost further but allow them to benefit from the Lancer technology, and increase their damage in melee and ranged. Now they are spam cavalry that is both weak and expensive, why would anyone want to make them in the first place.
No QoL despite the announcement. Some questionable balance decisions. No updated mappool.
Also for mistakes in the notes:
Mission Fervor is gained through the Jesuits age up, not the Ports with Ethiopia.
I really get the Red Sea Trade and Abun nerfs, but can we give Ethiopia please something to be able to withstand an age 2 hardrush?
