Abandoned your town right away

Trying to play with a friend in Australia, I'm on the West coast. We've both tried hosting, but every time it's saying I abandoned my town when I load in

Hi @Rowe, is this issue still occurring?

Some possible solutions could be to make sure the host is set to the closest region, disable all mods and restart the game. It's also possible to verify the integrity of the local files through Steam:

From the Library, right-click on Age of Empires III: Definitive Edition and select Properties
Select Local Files then select Verify Integrity of game files...

Let me know if this is still occurring! If it does; please post your user ID from from C:\Users\<user>\Games\Age of Empires 3 DE (the numbers on your user folder) as well as the PlayerSessionID from Age3SessionData.txt which is located in C:\Users\<user>\Games\Age of Empires 3 DE\Logs.

We found a bit of a work around setting up the AI on the same team together instead of individual ones, but I keep crashing and losing connection.

We've tried server next to him, here, and Korea because middle ground as far as ping

Just finished the file verify and nothing.
