AOE 3: "Playback has stopped because it is out of sync with the original game"

I know this topic has been already mentioned somewhere, but tbh I am equally frustrated with the bug itself and the answers that are given, which are coming down to "it's because of new patches".
So 90% of my attempts to watch a recorded game fail. Sometimes I can I watch 1 second of the recording, sometimes 15% of the recording, sometimes 35%, sometimes even 60% or a bit more... but never a full record. Well, 1 in 10 maybe...
I am talking about records I am trying to watch right after, immediately after my game. They don't work. It's been happening for months. There were patches in the meantime which I installed, and it does not change anything. Repeat (just in case) - I cannot watch a replay from games recorded minutes before. So I don't think it has anything to do with new patches, unless they are released 3 times a day, and everytime right after my game.
I would really ask for help or telling me where I can report this, because honestly I feel like the product I paid for does not have it's full functionality and the seller just does not care.

Did you pause at all during these matches? I wonder if the recorded games don't take into account paused time, and thus break sync if anything is ever paused. (Since then the time recording and time the game is active are not the same.)
