How do i access DLCs in AoE 3 Definitive Edirion?

Have downloaded the DLC bundle for AoE 3 Definitive Edition and they are marked as In Library. However when I run AoE 3 I can only access the original content and can't find the newly downloaded DLC's. Any help much appreciated

This game has various DLCs for new civilizations, maps, historical battles, skins. There currently isn't any DLC with new campaign / story mode.

New civilizations (and Tycoon Mode/Historical Maps) should automatically be added to Skirmish. New Historical Battles should automatically be unlocked from their main page once the DLC is installed.

As Eaglemut said, no new Story Mode (Campaign) entries are added in post-release DLC for DE. (And if you're familiar with old-school RTS expansions being separate applications, that's no longer the case in DE. In order to make it possible for multiplayer between DLC owners and non-owners, it's all one application, and the DLCs are basically unlocks.)

Thanks for the replies. I have played the AoE series from the original first AoE 1 release and I guess I was just used to downloadable/buyable expansions. I expected these dlc's, 'The African Royals' for example, to be just that - new story or campaign scenarios.

I am trying to find the other 2 games Fire and Ice and Asian Dynasties How can I purchase them?? Where do I look to find them I bought the original AOE game and they are there but not in the Definitive game.

You need to own the base game (NOT the free trail) to play the campaigns.
