If it comes out later than that then it could potentially conflict with other dlc, unless if World's Edge and Forgotten Empires do not mind other dlc coming out at around the same time as this dlc. There is a lot of dlc planned for next year with one dlc from AoE III: DE even though its official release date has not been announced yet because it makes a lot more sense for it to come out for 2025 than 2026, apparently two dlcs from AoM: Retold, possibly as many as two dlcs for AoE II: DE or at least one dlc with AoE II: DE, and AoE IV might need to be taken into an account as well. If AoE IV makes another dlc for 2025 I do not think it is coming out until late 2025, but at least in my personal opinion I am less interested in playing that game right now than the first three AoE games. I have started playing AoE: DE again recently, but I have not played AoE IV or AoE III: DE for a while. I need more of an incentive to play those two games than only just events.
Maybe, because AoM: Retold is still new and AoE IV only has one dlc. However, AoE IV getting even one dlc for 2025 is only speculation at this point instead of officially confirmed. It might even be held back for 2026, because of conflict with the delayed AoE III: DE dlc plus one or two dlc from AoE II: DE and at least two dlcs from AoM: Retold.
If AoE IV is not making dlc for 2025 then chances are more likely we are getting AoE III: DE dlc for 2025. There is a chance I might be wrong, but my prediction for AoE IV's next dlc is either late 2025 (sometime between October and December) or early 2026 (sometime between January and March). It is only speculation at this point, but the next dlc for AoE IV has not been announced yet contrary to the Polish and Danish dlc and dlc coming next year for AoM: Retold. The next dlc for AoE II: DE has not been announced yet either after Chronicles: Battle for Greece, but contrary to AoE IV it is very likely we will get at least one or more dlc next year for AoE II: DE.
I would hate to be a bummer but we do not know anything about this dlc besides the Polish and Danish civs naming. I think that what is going to happen is either World's Edge and Forgotten Empires abandons both dlc and most of this game besides multiplayer and events meaning no more dlc for this game or the next dlc does come out for 2025, but there is a chance it might be later than expected such as not coming out until mid 2025 or later. It might take a similar approach to Chronicles: Battle for Greece of not announcing the release date until only a few weeks before it comes out, but the simple fact we know nothing about this dlc besides the Danish and Polish civs with no screenshots is concerning to me. If the dlc does not come out for 2025 or for early to mid 2026 then it was probably cancelled and AoE III: DE is probably not making anymore dlc either at that point.
I am absolutely certain that AoE II: DE will be making at least one dlc for 2025 even though its release date, naming of dlc, and naming of civs has not been officially announced yet. As for when AoE IV's release date for its next dlc is I am not sure, but probably not coming out until late 2025 or later because of potential conflict with AoE III: DE dlc which was delayed, AoM: Retold apparently making two dlc for 2025, and AoE II: DE. You not mentioning AoE III: DE makes it appear to suggest that you believe that this dlc was cancelled and never coming out, but it is too early to know this for a certainty.
