Do DLCs have campaigns?

Ignores the beauty packs, do those 2 dlcs have campaigns?
And what are US and Mexico used for? Multiplayer only?

@ Scintilus. Hi. I'm reading in some posts that a fix for the US civilization DLC has been found (but i haven't understood what kind of fix and how to apply it). So, my question is: are you sure that all those DLCs are not avaiable because they are bugged? (and so you can only see the historical battles instead the full campain). Thank you
P.S. I just bought the 4 DLC's and i can't see any of them.

It's not a bug that there isn't any campaign DLC. Just read the description of each DLC on its Steam page and you will see what it offers (civs/historical battles/maps/cosmetics but never campaign).

Thank you for the answer Eaglemut. I'm new of this game and I'm trying to read other posts. There is people saying that they are now able to play the DLC after that the bug has been fixed. So, i assumed that some people are playing the US DLC. Thank you

There was indeed a brief period when the US civilization got locked for everyone. The bug was on Steam servers so you don't do anything to apply it - it was fixed globally.

So are you saying that you cannot select the US civilization in Skirmish/Multiplayer/Homecities?

Yes, exactly. I already did all the suggestions i've read about: To check and flag the DLCs, to exit the account on Steam and then to enter again, ... but nothing help. And, even if it's true that there is not a campaign for these DLCs, I can't even see them in the historical battles, not in the skirmish section, nor in the multyplayer section :-(

Well, AoE 2 DE's DLCs all came with 3 campaigns each. But I guess it's harder to make a campaign in the style of AoE 3's

I liked when they sneakily introduced the term "Historical Maps" to sucker people into thinking they had added some Historical Battles to the latest DLC. Real good trickery on that one.

Though those maps are quite unique and interesting, anyway.

As far as I'm concerned, those are better than Historical Battles, since they are dynamic maps they can be played with any number of human players/bots in various configurations. They have much better replayability.
So I certainly hope this "trickery" continues with next DLC!
