That's like, literally the definition of an event.
It's something that happens at some specific time.

It would be great if they'd introduce ways to obtain the rewards from past events at some later point for those who missed out on them, e.g. earn a certain homecity level or specific achievements to unlock them.

I just bought the game, and now I have the now unobtainable explorer skins and avatars taunt me by remaining forever greyed out.

The ♥♥♥♥♥♥ thing is that you can't complete more than 3 missions per day, I am not sure if I can reach the last rewards now :(.

Wtf are you talking about?

I'm not talking about the event lasting 30 days or whatever.

I'm talking about you having a cool down timer during missions, I made a mission last night and got a cooldown of 22h wtf is that all about? Is AoE3 a mobile game now?

Because of the BS I can't give the game a positive review. This is a game that should be able to be enjoyed as a single player game. Not some kind of lame mobile game.

If I don't have time to play everyday and can only play once or twice a week for a few hours, I'm literally f**** with any events they make.

This trend is really bad and it's in two games so far 2 and 3, lets hope they never add it to 4. on Dota 2 they have timed events in battle passes where they introduce skins that are one time only and you can't get them ever again. They released Skeleton King and nobody can get him anymore, it's such a stupid thing. Overwatch has timed event skins only available for a week too.
