Bug: "another process may be tampering with the game"
Hi everyone!
I have a problem: since the new year of the tiger,
when I play the cinematic, a message: "another process may be tampering with the game" appears.
I still get to the game menu but I can't click on all the modes on the left: skirmish, story mode, information...
On the other hand, I can try the challenges and when I launch them the game rash without any messages.

Does anyone know this bug?

Hi, yeah this happens when some other program like a 3rd party antivirus or cheatengine or WeMod tamper with the game. Make sure to uninstall/disable any such program to fix the issue.

Spectrum's new internet package causes this issue with its "deep guard" functionality

In my case it was deep guard in antivirus. Turn it off.
This also solved my problem with AoE II DE- in that game I wasnt able to lauch it in fitst place.

hi, i just downloaded the game and i keep getting the same error after or when skipping the cinematic. i do not have any av except windows defender is there any fix on this?
