I'd agree on this one. I would have preferred a single balloon or a few (as in a bundle of 5-6) multicolored balloons every so often. Right now, the effect triggers too often and covers too much of the screen, IMO.

@Lilim: No, it's not a mod. It's part of the Age 3 DE birthday event. It's temporary and will end soon. It cannot be turned off. If you did the event challenges and earned the "Let them eat cake" mod that makes your artillery shoot cakes, that one is a mod and can be turned off.

As I have seen so far it's a temporary effect replacing birds in the most maps.
