aiLoaderStandard.xs Error

hello, every time I want to start a Skrimish game (no matter which card) and AI teams get the error
cannot load aiLoaderStandard.xs.

I completely removed and reinstalled the game several times.
Even the error check of Steam does not help

I also removed all of the mods and documents folder too.
But still I get the error displayed and the AI ​​does nothing at all.

The file is 2KB in size. Is that so?

Download hammerhead AI file check the readne for the location then remove the files

AIloader ( the file you mentioned)
AI header
AI main (just to make sure)
And verify your steam files

I have the same thing as well....sure makes the game fun..............................NOT
and then they expect us to rush out and buy AOE4...what a mess that will be for sure..

I really understand your frustration, but I don't that this problem will be ignored. I mean yeah this sucks, I know, but I think too, that there will be progress in the next time for sure. And AoE 4 will be awesome I believe. So please calm down, rethink the actuall situation with corona and this whloe ♥♥♥♥ and than think again and maybe you notice that what you wrote at last compares to really much of all game releases that where hyped. I hope that you have a nice weekend :)

that is a great reply Dr. Rush :) Yes I am frustrated with this particular issue, and maybe AOE4 will be awesome....but ......I played this game at the beginnig about 20 years or so ago. Loved it back then, I guess expectations were lower with computers and gaming being relatively new. Got busy with real life and have just rediscoverd the AOE series. So in 20 plus years the game has not progressed out of the current ages. So basically the game has not advanced other than visually. Seriously after 20 years of the same thing this should be the most perfect game in existence......which it certainly is not. I guess the real frustration is I expected much more than the same old same old. I really hope AOE4 is dazzling, but I wont be the first to buy it :)

Well, I would be lieing if I would say ypu're wrong and so... I can remember as well better times and feel the smiting despair when a beloved game series at the end isn#t that awesome like before... by the way did you tried AoE Online via Project Celeste ?

Honestly I am not a very good player. I like playing the skirmishes, but there are far toooo many really good players, and I wouldnt last 5 minutes..:) I dont even use mods in the game, lol

I had the same error for the past few days - I think it coincided with the update. I also tried validating my files and it did nothing.

Finally I unsubscribed from all the mods I had enabled - "Higher War Pop Edited" and "More Playable Civs" - then exited the game and opened it again. Now AI works properly again. Hope this helps.

Yes, after the last update this problem appeared and has not been fixed, frustrating to say the least .....
