Since when is reconnect worth it? Almost never; 30 seconds of idle time is a death sentence.
Yes, ultimately, there is an onus on the player to get their hardware up to spec and troubleshoot their internet connection. But that only goes so far. Wireless routers can have intermittent lag spikes. The networks themselves can face momentary lag spikes. We play games with people from all over the world. Weather can affect performance. There are lots of variables and most companies understand they need to design a system that's robust enough to accommodate if they're going to offer a multiplayer service.
I don't play AOE3 multiplayer, but it's frankly astounding that they don't have a reconnect algorithm for multiplayer.
These types of people just want to be the focus of nothing else.
There will be more and more stupidity in the future
Recoonect system is An important and necessary feature in multiplayer game.
for a game like AOE3 that evey match may take up to 40+ ( spectially in team game )
its necessary.
but its may not so important for casual or noob players like you...
