How does it work? Are the number of yellow lines meant to show how good the player is? Doesn't seem to be to the case. I'm only 1100 elo but a lot of games I'm playing are far below that level and not any fun playing.

Stars represent how many games you've played over the past 30 days, the chevrons represent how many games you've won over the past 30 days. Basically a win %. Your best bet is playing ranked
