Unit Selection
Is there any way to select more than 50 units at once?
Also, what are the hotkeys for groups, and how to assign those?

As far as I know 50 is the max. But you can organize your units into groups by first selecting them and then pressing control and then any number. For example, let's say you want to make an infantry group. Select your infantry, hold control, then press 1. To do the same for the next group hold control and press 2, and so on. From there you can just press the number and it will select the assigned group.

Thank you.

A small addendum: aside from using hotkey groups, there's also a button to mass all military units on a single point. (On "definitive" UI, it's in the lower right corner, top-right from the minimap.) This can sometimes glitch out a bit if the units are already moving, and counts as a standard move rather than an attack move, but can be helpful in organizing your army before or after a fight.

Well you don't need to since pop cap is 200 and villagers are maxed out at every game to 99. So 1 main group of 50 and then the others are supporting units

I often get a huge econ advantage, then kill off half the villagers so I have more pop limit for an army. I get tired of sending 100 troops into the enemy's 100 troops, and nobody wins the fight. Then you do it all over again. The game gets nowhere.
