Its really fun and hard at the same time, i never seem to get a good combination of cards though...

This game is so enjoyable I wish there was more to it.
I could play another 22 hours if there was more achievements and paths to go through.
Best one is when you have to nuke a church because church makes people stupid and you want to have 300IQ society but Rick&Morty wasn't invented yet.

For only £2-3, its a fun game for 2 or 3 hours. It's more puzzle than strategy or a simulator. You have fine balance between creating resources for humans and making discoveries while granting wishes. You explore discoveries in a specific order in order to unlock new ones.

My main gripe is that you unlock more cards but they're basically just duplicates. There's not many unique actions nor can you specialise or even edit your deck. You don't feel like you can guide a society how you want or with different themes. So once you've unlock all 250 cards, (which is easy as you can just grind through) there's not much to do than hope you get a perfect run.

I wish you could have played as different types of gods. One more peaceful and focused on bountiful food and creatures, or one that is wrathful with more meteorites and disasters but rewards the humans more. It would have been nice for random events to make each run more interesting.

Another thing, is that a lot of it can rely on luck and having drawn the right cards. You can get screwed over early on. At least you can sell cards if you are low on faith. I do wish there were more game mechanics for card draw, shuffling the deck, or scrying.

If the devs ever made a sequel, I feel there's so much they can add to give the game depth and relayability.

Has some negative quirks to it, but overall a fun lil game to spend time with

Nice little compact half hour game that you can fit in whenever you get a spare moment. It reminds me of a game you'd discover on a cover disk from Amiga Format or PC Zone.
