Game crashes right after loading screen
It ran fine before, but I think opening the Steam overlay crashed it. Now when I start the game it crashes around the time the loading is almost over and that the Steam overlay notification is shown.

Try turning off the steam overlay then.
...then perhaps have a look for some newer drivers.

Disabling the overlay is indeed a workaround. And I have the newest nVidia drivers installed. Could you take a look at the log?

You're not using the Nvidia drivers :) That's the Intel ones. As usual.Grr.

I changed the preferred processor from automatic selection to nVidia GPU and now it works. Thanks.

Should I file a bug report to nVidia?

Yeah, you could do :) Though really Intel need a kick up the arse as it should work fine under both GPUs.
