Triggering other side's events
Maybe there is something i'm not seeing or maybe it's a bug, but...
When the IA plays a card with an event associated to the player's side, it just doesn't implement the event effect, just the OP use on the IA's side.
Do you see this too or is just me?
Thanks

Perhaps the requirement for the event to trigger hasn't been met?
JJ Mar 12, 2020 @ 5:33am
I thought so, but I kept watching and never triggers even when the requirement exists

The bot ignores events of the player and when it triggers non-associated event it gets the card value to reserve.

That's a BIG bug

I could be wrong, but until a proper computer opponent is implemented, I believe the game is currently following the physical flow chart.

IIRC, events not triggering is not a bug, but a feature.
This. Since the game AI is using the original flowcharts, US events are never triggered by the BOT.
The solo flowchart doesn't trigger opponent events, yes.

when you play offline , players event not trigger (jihadist event) , is it correct ?

If you play offline against the Bot, opponent events played by the bot will not trigger because there are special rules that the bot plays by (it has to play its cards in order of the top of its hand pile, so it is at a disadvantage). If the human player plays an opponent event, it will still resolve.

If you play offline against another human player (in hotseat mode), then opponent events will trigger when the card is played (if the conditions for the event are met).

We will have a proper AI at some point. Hopefully sooner rather than later, but it will be available for a significant portion of the Early Access phase, and in that case opponent events will be played properly.

but, when you continue playing the tutorial when it finishes explanations, AI events trigger. does it not follow the same bot rules and flowcharts?

it's not playing with the bot. it's following a rudimentary AI that isn't very good.

the tutorial is supposed to end and send you back to main menu when it is done. we're in the process of revamping both tutorials now, starting with the Jihadist.

I've the same question. I see it is solved. Play offline is against bot, not IA

Out of curiosity, is there a plan to implement a full AI for offline mode ala TS, or will the offline mode always follow the flowchart automaton rules?

Yes an AI will be implemented.
