Single Player with AI?
Will this have full single player gameplay with AI / Bots? Or just Solo PVP?

Using the board game bot not an AI at first. If I read it correctly. I will still buy playdek make cool board game conversions

They did an ok job on Twilight struggle with the AI except USA would allow Europe control in a lot of cases. So I stopped winning with the Russians with that 'cheat'.

Edit: Just to be clear Playdek did an amazing job with the digital version. I would buy any game they produce. Instant buy no waiting for the sales!

When the game releases for Early Access it will have the solitaire bot for solo play. We will add A.I. for the full release. Thanks!

I think they did an excellent job with Twilight Struggle. I've played that game SO many times on my old iPad' but win very very few games against the AI. Maybe I'm just a very mediocre TS player?
Btw, will there be a version of Labyrinth for iPad?
Playdek Devs, if you are reading this, PLEASE consider making a game based on the Space Empires 4X board game!!

That would be the bees knees, imho.
Thanks.

Being unfamiliar with the boardgame, how would the solitaire bot differ from A.I.?

It's a pre-programmed flow chart. In the actual board game it's the flowchart and lookup tables.

So it dictates the moves another player would make?

It tries to simulate how a player would play but doesn't play by the same rules as the player would. Whereas a true AI would play by the same rules. For a board gamer the automata is being used in a lot of games "scythe" had one but wasn't included in the digital version though a lot of players requested it!

Yes, I realize this is an old thread, but my question is relevant.

Did the developers ever add the full A.I. to this game like they said they would, please?

They added an AI for the US side but not yet for the Jihad

Ok, thank you. So they halfway did what they promised. I think I'll stick with Twilight Struggle. The theme of this one just doesn't interest me as much, and I have heard it's not as well designed as Twilight.

The problem with the Twilight struggle is the Russian AI let's the US take Europe - It just doesn't fight it. So I always give the AI MAX advantage and not try taking Europe.
