Save game and progress missing after Steam update [linux]

The save game is still in the unity3d directory, but in-game I don't see the levels I have unlocked. It shows the opening sequence too.

Same here! This is the 2nd time in a row and update has wiped out my game.

found it... the new save location is: 'Ironhide Game Studio/Iron Marines/' in your home directory. you should be able to search your drive for "Ironhide Games" to find it . copy the old save file to the new location

To recap, on linux, in a terminal:

$ mkdir -p "$HOME/Ironhide Game Studio/Iron Marines/"
$ cp -r  "$HOME/.config/unity3d/Ironhide Game Studio/Iron Marines"\
 "$HOME/Ironhide Game Studio/Iron Marines/"

I feared that in the course of fixing the Steam Cloud Sync feature (thanks again!) there is a high risk of messing up something with the game progress.

I had that before with other games.

(Not sure this is the reason, though.)

With the new update we fixed some issues regarding the cloud save, so if you did not have it on, the information will not be found automatically, but don't worry, there is a way to find it:

First, you need to make the invisible files, visible, so close the game and then:

Open the Finder
Go to your Macintosh HD folder (access this from Devices in the left column)
Hold down Cmd + Shift + . (dot)
All the hidden files will become visible

After you have done this you need to :
Hold down Cmd + Shift + . (dot) a second time to hide the files again
‎⁨Macintosh HD⁩/⁨Users⁩/⁨youruser/⁨Library⁩/⁨Application Support⁩/⁨com.ironhidegames.ironmarines⁩/

There you will see a file named: SteamCloud_IronMarines.sav

You need to copy that file and paste it on this directory:
~/Library/Application Support/Ironhide Game Studio/Iron Marines/{64BitSteamID}​

and your savegame will all the progress will be restored.
Don't worry, this has to be done just once, after this the savegame will always reflect your progress.

I started the game on my Windows machine. Then tried to continue on my Steam Deck. The game runs perfectly on the Steam Deck. My cloud save did download and I can see in the properties of the game in the Steam Deck that the cloud save is downloaded. But when I play the game on Steam Deck it doesn't continue my savegame... Yes I am using the same Steam account on both systems. Yes the cloud save is syncing... Any ideas?

Same bug for Linux Mint. I start the game on Windows (9 hours), I want to continue on my Linux machine with the same account, but the game start at the beginning.

There are two "Ironhide Game Studio" directory in my Linux, one is directly in my home directory and another in .config/unity3d, the good sav file is here. if I copy the sav file find in the .config/unity3d/Ironhide Game Studio/Iron Marines/76561198013773132 to the Ironhide Game Studio/Iron Marines/76561198013773132/ the game begin with the good save. Mismach of game or stream program version ?
