hang on, that math doesnt add up. every girl *has* 4 illustrations in this one, one for each of her 4 partners, and there are 12 girls in both. its just that theres some overlap, its not that big of a difference.
the fact that 100% of the illustrations in this one are porn is hit or miss. i liked the more innocent ones in the first game, but complaining about more porn seems counterintuitive. in the first game, only like ~15 were porn and in this one its at least double.
EDIT: if they do add in more content later, though, a set of non-sexual illustrations for each pair *would* be nice. it is a porn game, obviously, but some of the pairs are actually pretty cute together so itd be nice to just get art of them on the dates or something
I think that having some double date mechanics would have been nice, but I also miss the teasing and working towards it.
I also feel liks the illustrations are boring in comparisson.
It's just hard for me to look past the lack of interaction with the girls when you have a game like Crush Crush that puts out new text conversations with girls and new CGs periodically for free.
Very disappointed, and no nudity in the dates is almost game breaking honestly.
At least it's not particularly expensive.
I think it might be regarding the bonus rounds where in HP1 at certain score points the girls began removing their clothing, I think it was patched in to the game in the first one so maybe it will be a thing in this at some point.
It also helps that talking to the girls in Huniepop 1 was near-mandatory to actually progress, so you got to know the characters better as you went on dates with them. For some reason, actually talking to the Double Date girls is difficult due to the limited Stamina, limited food in the store, and the fact that giving them gifts takes away their Stamina, which is virtually mandatory since its the only way to level your traits.
Though certainly lack of information is a problem in 2. Mainly it seems you want to ask questions that will draw an answer that pleases the other girl, the problem is you often have very little to go on as to what a particular girl will answer and what her partner expects. I'd guess this is an issue when it comes to feeling you know the girls too, since this information isn't usually used anywhere else.
Well, those made up most of the questions, so its not like they told you their life story immediately. Still, you could generally learn quite a bit about the girls in the first game.
The lack of one on one sessions with the main character is a huge downer.
This just prevents me from buying.
