In general it shouldn't matter where ViewTracker is installed but Elite Dangerous appears to have an issue that prevents it from loading the necessary DLL from certain drives.
On ViewTracker settings:
Output= freetrack 2.0 Enhanced,
Setting (Hammer icon) for Output is set to "Use TrackIR, hide FreeTrack"
The above works every time I run ED Horizons now :)
If the Output settings are set to "Use FreeTack, hide TrackIR" or "Enable Both" it does not work.
I am not sure if anything I did previously, like the starting Opentrack first test or moving the ViewTracker install to C drive in a my above previous comment, contributed to anything or not. However with the current Output settings above it works for me now.
Hope this helps - JP
