1: give them an item
2: wait to see if that item reveals anything about the judge's preferences
3: write down what the item's material, color, style were.
If the judge revealed nothing, he/she is pretty indifferent to any of those features.
If the judge either hates or likes one aspect about that item, it will reveal one to three articles about their likes/dislikes, pending what the item's properties were.
Don't give them items that are neutral again and again, you won't reveal anything new. Only if you give them an item that is in hates/likes will they reveal something new.
This means you have to keep changing things up in their gifting, in order to find everything, or at least enough to dress properly.
I'm sure what I've mentioned is there.
You have to record what you've given them so you don't repeat aspects. That's the plain down and dirty of it.
My directions are pretty much guaranteed, not trial and error. I can see a remote possibility of not getting at least one hero on the podium, but I haven't seen it happen yet. I always get 1-3 heroes to win.
Of course they might change it in a patch, but I can't know about that until after it happens.
also you did not spell everything out either way. im talking not just gifting im talking the entire ♥♥♥♥ show of scoring criteria. I mean, I know I said I looked at your guide and tried the things in both, not sure where you missed that in my giant wall of text as an opening thread post.
I will apologize like...25% of the negativity in my sarcasm but ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ the fashion show makes my will to play this game -25 of 10. People might say "It doesnt effect the game if you cant do the Fashion Show" but haha omfg it does. It truly does effect it seeing as there are ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ QUEST FOR IT! and at least one of which is a perk for a hero that makes it so she doesnt MISS! Kinda changes an entire character into not needing a tick of agility.
Heres what im looking for in a more concrete form..I guess?
What gives the judges a score? Color? Style? Material? Rarity? General Item Tier (Militia vs Rune)?
Color - On the Trendy thing or likes dislikes more important?
Style and Material are listed in Likes/Dislikes but why can I WEAR THAT STUFF AND GET A 1?!?!?
Does your Fashion Level?Rank? (Stars in top right) effect what you can and cannot gift? When you build the Fashion House you cant even MAKE anything worth 1k so does each star increase gift price by 250g? (capping at 1k?) Does a higher fashion rank make the scoring criteria excessively harsher?
Im looking for answers like these because iv tried the things in the guides, iv tried the things in other posts here and honestly im still scoring 10-7th on any fashion show. Its getting ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ pointless.
We really need something that reverse engineers the scoring system altogether, regardless of the gifting situation.
Well, there's only 3 guides in there, and each by a different poster, but here's a link:

The goal is to win. That's all. No breakdown of how it works, just a simple procedure to get it done and over with then move on.
Lurtex, if you want that done, you are welcome to do it. It's too much work for me for a $10 game.
Atleast yours seems to make sense for anyone thats further along in the game and has some Star Fashion Rank or w/e its gonna be labeled as.
Well, the 5 fashion shows in a row quest *is* an endgame quest. And to be honest, there's really no point in doing the fashion shows until after you've completed the beetle-assistant quest.
