How do you craft mana "points" ???

Craft mana potions in your laboratory using the essence you get (elusive essence, weak essence)

You can complete this by crafting mana potions. They automatically convert into mana points. The first three potion types give 5, 10 and 15 mana points respectively.

It's worded badly since potions aren't a 1:1 transfer to mana points (the small ones are 5 points and the next tier is 10) so the quest wants you to craft 50 points worth of mana potions.

also how are you supposed to know that potions give you mana points? Normally in games mana points is determined based off of your INT or some such stat...

Yeah, it's not intuitive at all on first glance. I stumbled into it because I was wondering what mana potions would even be for (since there didn't seem to be a mana stat for the characters) so decided to make some to see if it'd prompt some sort of description.
