Then when you know that you can equip outfits that match to get maximum points. It feels like a massive waste of time tbh.
Don't bother with it early on for sure.
It's very anecdotal, but i don't care to keep trying it because it's really not interesting or worthwhile.
I managed to get to 93 rep, but haven't gotten past that point (100 for first gold star). Seems pretty much pointless as the better my gear gets the lower my scores are.
Is it that, or is it because you get different judges each time?
Tested this by giving my ranged character an entirely new outfit (head, body, feet, weapon) and she got 1/1/1 in the contest so I think my anecdote trumps your anecdote.
In my case it'd be like "The trendy color is pink!"
So I'll be like, "Oh, I'll just try to include items that have at least some pink, that'll help."
And I'll still end up with 1s all across the board, haha...
