Zal I always buy on GoG as first choice if available, and I don't think to be the only one, if you don't see the point you're blind. Separate installer and no steam tool (that I personally hate) needed to launch the game first, plus other boring problems (like steam not launching if you move the computer away from the modem preventing the launch of your buyed games, but is only one out of maybe twenty things) anyway since is only here I'll buy here, but from my point of view buying on GoG is a far better choice.

do you not communicate with your publisher or are they just for show? i ask because this was just released on gog as of 5/13.

this also seems to explain why punch club hasnt been updated on the gog side and remains many many versions behind its steam counterpart.

Would have preferred to buy from GOG... now I have a Steam copy I don't particularly care for... and I doubt I will double dip until there is a 70+% discount

I've learned that tinyBuild releases on GOG are really hit and miss, so I just default to getting them on Steam

Unless you blame GOG for tinybuild's releases being hit and miss, this seems like a bizarre policy. If you think poorly of tinybuild's behaviour then punish them instead. Don't buy until they sort things out.

It's not that I think poorly of tinyBuild, it's just that their Steam user base dwarfs GOG, so that's where their main focus is... no use in fighting it
