Any end-of-life plan?

A recent hack 'n slash ARPG looter game (Wayfinder) showed that it's very possible to remove the always-online requirement from online-only games, and rework it for offline play. Are there any such plans for Godfall? Or will my $40 disappear if I buy this?

assume disappear until you see patch notes saying "offline mode added", which has not happened yet and likely never will

This is why I stopped playing and uninstalled. Don't get me wrong, I like the game, but not being able to take it with me offline on the steam deck is a deal breaker for further play. I hope the devs add an offline mode but I bet there is a 98.6% chance this will not happen. Is the studio even still on existance? Lol

With Wayfinder it was a team of devs wanting to push out at least a serviceable product after their publishing deal fell through, they could've very well had a Concord situation on their hands

With Godfall it's a published product that failed on the market, the devs had already moved on and it was "feature complete"
So yeah it'll most likely just die out into the void at some point.
