How can I race solo in my multiplayer car?

So got a brand new scheme for my multiplayer car but can't use it alone. I've already tried doing a lan or unranked game but I can only drop the player count to 2 with AI covering the rest. I can't turn off practice and the only way to skip it is to crash terminally, but then I can’t continue to qualify or race.

How can I race solo in my multiplayer car?
