Start crash RTX 3XXX

Hey guys and girls, since i have my 3080 i can't play this game.

Is there a real working simple trick?

I just upgraded to a 3080 as well and the game will not launch for me. ego dump crashes. Been looking into solutions. Running DX11, windows borderless, tinkering in nvidia control, disabling steam overlay, and nothing that has been recommended in redit posts or other forums is working. so frustrating!

I don't have a 30X0 myself but I did notice that the nVidia drivers update from 12/2/20 crashes the game with my 970 when I close it all the time. It may be a driver issue that will be addressed since this didn't happen before the latest driver came out.

Just delete the nvngx_dlisp.dll and nvngx_dlss.dll.
This method was provided in Code Masturbator forum and took me about 3 hours to find.

This helps only a little bit. Game starts now, but Window close automatic. I can´t play F1 2019 RTX 3080

I eventually found this solution as well. The game is working now for me.

Have you tried running the program in DX12? The 30-series should be more compatible with newer DirectX-versions.

i got same problem with 3070, it doesn't work on DX 11 and DX 12 as well. verifying files and safemode doesn't help.

I removed the 2 dll files in game files and it worked fine

Same issue. Having to remove files on a relatively new game shouldn't have to be a thing. Codemasters, are you gonna fix this or what?

same issue as everybody else here. My 3070 crashes on launch. Deleting the dll files lets it launch, but should not be the permanent solution.
