Having problems with logitech g29
Hey everyone. I've been having this problem for the last few days. I start the game with the steering wheel connected and almost everytime the range of the wheel is to high (900º). This was with F1 2018. I just bought F1 2019 and had the same problem. On top of that the throtle sometimes doesnt work. Also the centering spring also fails almost everytime. Does anyone else have the same problem ? The wheel works fine with iRacing

You can try reinstalling ghub.

Simple solution---USE the proper Logitech Profiler and set it up in there. Piece of cake.

Have you played Project Cars 2? I had an issue where Project Cars changed some registry settings for the wheel making the FFB not work properly in F1 2019.

I have the same issue. There seems to be a 75% chance that when i launch the game my G29 has the gas and clutch swapped and there is almost no force feed back on the wheel.

The only way it I'm able to fix it is to Uninstall Ghub and reinstall Ghub so that it fixes the registry data in the regedit and then unplugging the G29 from USB and plugging it back in so that G hub detects it.

Regedit directory : HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\ControlSet001\Control\MediaProperties\PrivateProperties\Joystick\OEM\VID_046D&PID_C24F

I don't have project cars 2 and for some reason after playing F1 2019 the registry sometimes changes. I believe the problem is with F1 2019 causing this.

The other problem I have with f1 2019 is that it crashes very often. I'm starting to suspect that after every game crash it's more likely that the next time i launch the game my gas and clutch will be swapped due to the registry being modified.

Also word to the wise, the game will crash 100% of the time if you unplug the g29 from the usb while in a race or time trail.

i found solution !! i think it's a best way
it's working perfectly G29 with F1 2019

launch Lghub

plug wheel

launch Steam

look the registery at

[HKEY_CURRENT_USER\System\CurrentControlSet\Control\MediaProperties\PrivateProperties\Joystick\OEM\VID_046D&PID_C24F]
"OEMName"="G29 Driving Force Racing Wheel"
"OEMData"=hex:03,00,08,10,19,00,00,00

it's wrong Key !!

Change by this key:
[HKEY_CURRENT_USER\System\CurrentControlSet\Control\MediaProperties\PrivateProperties\Joystick\OEM\VID_046D&PID_C24F]
"OEMName"="Logitech G HUB G29 Driving Force Racing Wheel USB"
"OEMData"=hex:43,00,08,10,19,00,00,00

and launch F1 2019

is not necessary to reset the PC

evrytime you want play F1 2019 follow this procedure
i save the key in file : f1-2019.reg

evrytime you launch Lghub and plug the wheel the registery is modified by
[HKEY_CURRENT_USER\System\CurrentControlSet\Control\MediaProperties\PrivateProperties\Joystick\OEM\VID_046D&PID_C24F]
"OEMName"="G29 Driving Force Racing Wheel"
"OEMData"=hex:03,00,08,10,19,00,00,00

Windows 10
game in DX11 i don't make test in DX12 !!

I think you are right. I was missing the step of unplugging the wheel after changing the registry.

Also Running the game in DX11 seems to be stable but in DX12 it crashes all the time.

Here i made a quick video while trying it out:

I am using Logitech Gaming software for the g29 and the issue is the same. Everytime I need to open F1 2019, I have to run G29 software as administrator beforehand (although it is on startup), because the program always applies 900° wheel settings when it starts on windows start. Saving a lower wheel setting won't work, you still need to run it as admin to have effect.

@jodien37 Same, you running windows 7 ?
