I've been playing F1 2019 and I can answer any question you have!

Hey guys,

I've been reviewing F1 2019 for the past few days and now the embargo has lifted so I'm free to answer absolutely any question you have about the game. Just let me know what you wanna know!

How does the driver transfer system work? Do the F2 drivers get promoted to F1?

In career mode, two fictional characters move up from F2 to F1 with you. F1 drivers change teams at the end of the season, I haven't seen any changes mid-season yet. I haven't seen any F2 drivers being promoted that weren't fictional, but I don't know if they can or not.

How long is the qualifying phase in the weekly events?

It's your Steam name.

Qualifying phase for weekly events is 18 minutes long and, of course, if you want to have another session it incurs a time penalty.

are the competition points to buy liveries & suits/gloves only earned from weekly events or do you get them buy just driving in online races?

Can we play a regular F2 career mode season before F1 or is it only the few scenarios. Can we play F2 championships in other menus

I'm pretty sure in career mode you can only play the three F2 scenarios. In Championships mode though you can play the whole F2 season with a real driver.

There seems to be story cutscenes for the two fictional characters from the early F2 scenario. I also saw that there are emails of interview clippings on the F1 side. My question is did you see other story cutscenes as you further your F1 career? Or are the fictional characters relegated to just email clippings now?
